I feel bad whenever I see runners bash, say foul words, and all those negative thoughts. Is there really a need for that? Is it worth the effort and stress?
I rarely see bashing back then. If there were complaints, runners voice them out BUT in a modest and respectful manner in different fora. Moderators play a big role and always remind runners to avoid foul words or else their comments will be deleted.
It has changed significantly, sad to say. We all have our shortcomings, it’s how we manage the emotion reflects who we are as a person. We may be the highest ranking person, the richest, the most successful, a celebrity, the most popular, or any status in life, but it doesn’t make you any different from other RUNNERS. Respect is something what I learned from my parents since I was young and up until today I follow that by heart.
All I am saying is be nice. Respect begets respect. I remember back then we always say that runners are happy people.
