Calling all health buffs, athletes, families, and running enthusiasts—it’s the running season once more! Regent Foods Corporation is inviting everyone, from kids to adults, to join its 24th anniversary run on August 12 at the Fort Global City, Taguig.
Regent Foods’ 24th Anniversary Run features running category divisions for all ages: 100m for toddlers and kids until 12 years old, 3K, 5K, 10k and 16K races. Entry fees are P450 (100m and 3K), P550 (5K and 10K) and P700 (16K). The fees are inclusive of special edition Fun Run Saver’s treat canister with 13 Regent products, to be given upon registration. 5K, 10K and 16K runners also get a finisher’s medal and 16k finisher will get a finisher’s shirt.

Objectives of a race expo:

It was not time for me yet to conquer my first 21K after a long running hiatus. The lack of mileage, sleeping late and the lack of sleep made me decide not to and do it some other time…when I’m really ready. But I still went there to support my friends who were running and met them before and after the event.
Many finished happy for the first ever leg of the ULAH Trilogy and were satisfied with the route, the hydration, bananas, and medal. Some was in awe seeing how big the Active Health Expo was (di ba lolo?). There was a little problem though upon claiming of the finishers items but I heard Runrio, Inc. is doing their best to address the runners’ concerns and I heard someone’s already calling all of them. So let us all be calm, patient and stay happy. 
Runrio also released something new wherein runners can receive their race results just by texting!
Here’s an excerpt of the message:
“To get your chip time, please type RESULT RU1/DISTANCE/BIB NO/NAME/BIRTHDATE, example: result ru1/5k/5447/thomas caballero/06201973 and send your SMS to mobile no. 09229992444.”
